The "Claycomb Karate" system is based on the study of Fundamental techniques of Okinawan and Japanese Karate-Jutsu. Many applications are also found in Wrestling, Kickboxing and Judo.

Unlike Traditional systems that focus on FORM FIRST and lack PRACTICAL APPLICATION, CKA focusses on the FUNCTION of technique first. Function is the key to determining what the form should naturally become.
